Review of "Hawk-eye, the Pathfinder" (BR 8)

'Mabel, you must be happy!' (p. 63)

Mabel Dunham was a daughter of Sergeant Dunham, who was a soldier in the English Army. He was a soldier in the 55th Regiment. Mabel was nineteen years old and she hadn't seen his father for fifteen years. So, she wanted to see he father.
On the way of travel, Marvel and other people met three men. One of the men was an Indian. His name was Chingachgook. And the other two were white men. The name of the young man was Jasper Western. The old man had many names, Hawk-eye, Long Gun and Pathfinder.
After Mabel see her father, Sergeant Dunham wanted his daughter to marry Pathfinder. Pathfinder loved Mabel. But Mabel loved Jasper. Jasper and loved Mabel, too. In fight with French Army, a lot of people died, including Sergeant Dunham. Before Sergeant died, Mabel made a promise to his father that she would marry Pathfinder. But she still loved Jasper. Pathfinder understood that. So, Pathfinder said that Mabel must marry Jasper. After that, Mabel and Jasper got married.
I thought Pathfinder was a kind man.
