Review of "Lorna Doone" (BR 17)

Lorna must marry Sir John Ridd, (p. 60)

The Doones were terrible people! They were a family of robbers and murderers. They robbed a lot of things from neighbors and they killed many neighbors.
John Ridd was a farmer. His father was killed by the Doones. First, the Doones tried to rob all of their money.  But, John's father was a brave person. So, he fought against the Doones. He killed some robbers. However, One of the Doones shot him. Then, John's father died. To know the truth, John decided to kill the person who killed his father, Carver Doone.
One day, John came across a beautiful girl, Lorna Doone. They fell in love each other. John wanted to marry her. But, Lorna had to get married Carver Doone. Actually, Lorna wasn't one of the Doones and she was a stolen girl from a rich family. She was Lady Lorna Dugal!
After many years, they still loved each other. One day, John and his neighbors decided to fight against the Doones. After the fight, Almost all the Doones died, but only Carver Doone survived.
Finally, John and Lorna got married. But, in the wedding, Lorna was shot by Carver Doone at the moment of kissing. John got angry. He followed Carver running away. Then, Carver Doone had gone into black bog and he died. But, John didn't kill him.
And, Lorna was alive! John and Lorna became good, and they had a happy life.
I felt excited and happy to read this story.
